I am a refugee of Hacker News. Between "pending" comments, "amplified" downvotes, and other general black-box moderation shenanigans, I've decided to look elsewhere. Seeing as lobste.rs was created by someone who had the same frustrations --and who has since incorporated several good ideas from different online communities into this one-- I thought I'd hop on board.
