Jack O'Connor on quick turnaround

“Our fellas don’t mind being out next weekend. We had three weeks to prepare for this game and that bank of fitness will take us through next week.

“We won’t mind the games, it worked okay for us last year so hope it’ll go the same way.”

Ger Brennan on Dublin's win over Cavan

“A lot has happened in the previous 12 weeks and it’s just about being in the draw, it’s the only thing that matters and we’ll get who we’ll get.

“I’m very happy with how the lads applied themselves today. Very, very focused.

“The guys worked hard.

“The subs that came in today kept the energy levels high and added value when they came in so that’s probably a positive.

“We probably haven’t had that impact from the bench in some of our games recently.”

Kieran McGeeney on Armagh's loss to Louth

"It's a kick in the b******* but that's the way it goes...

"Everybody makes mistakes. We gave the ball away three or four times. If we hadn't given it away, the ball wouldn't have been kicked in. It's not Ethan, it's all of us. It's the way it goes. You win together, you lose together.

"We should have run out the game better than we did. But you have to give credit to the Louth lads, they kept hanging in there. They threw caution to the wind and it worked out for them.

"That's sport, it can be cruel sometimes. But you have to keep focus right to the end."

Welcome

Good morning and welcome to our live blog for this morning's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 3 draw following a weekend of shocks.

Cork, Louth, Galway and Tyrone all advanced to the quarter-finals of the Championship with victories over Donegal, Armagh, Westmeath and Mayo respectively.

That means those counties can enjoy a weekend without a match this week as the eight counties who have suffered defeats in the Championship so far this summer are all in action in Round 3.

There are some huge names in the hat for the draw, including the first three counties in the betting to lift the Sam Maguire in Kerry, Donegal and Armagh.

The draw is scheduled to start following the 8.30am news on RTE Radio 1's Morning Ireland and we will keep you up to date with it right here.
