- Not to be confused with 21.
21bitcoin was an early Hong Kong Bitcoin mining pool and Chinese-language Bitcoin site operated by BitcoinTalk user nakowa.[1] The pool offered mining contracts, a pool at p.21bitcoin.com, and a site forum.[2][3]
The operator also offered mining contracts through a forum-based model. A 15 June 2011 BitcoinTalk thread by nakowa advertised Radeon HD 6990 mining capacity running Ubuntu 11.04 and poclbm.[4]
It is not known if the pool had ever solved a block. It shut down in 2011, but the site remained as a blog until the domain expired the following year. By 15 June 2012, an archived capture of 21bitcoin.com showed a parked-domain page stating that the domain had expired on 22 May 2012.[5].
