USC Roski School of Art offers a curriculum that encourages you to experiment across media. Explore what you can do with clay. Try printmaking, photography or fashion. Expand your practice or create hybrid work. You can also take courses at 18 other USC professional schools, from education to film production and architecture to medicine.

BA

Looking for a liberal arts degree to develop an arts practice? A program that lets you combine your creativity with a pursuit in a field like psychology, entrepreneurial business or game design? Do it here.

BFA Art

Roski’s studio-focused fine art degree encourages individuality. Critical-theory seminars, critiques, a studio capstone course and a senior thesis project complement your studio time.

BFA Design

You’ll dive into 2D and 3D design in this program with the option of a Roski minor like fashion, communication design or marketing. You can also minor in a discipline from another USC professional school such as business or humanities.

MA in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere

This intensive program covers the practice and history of curating through the lenses of critical theory, art history and visual culture, and gives you a background in theories of contemporary curatorial practices.

MFA Art

A rigorous individual studio program and critical exchange with professors, guest artists and scholars are hallmarks of this program, which culminates in a solo thesis exhibition and paper.

MFA Design

In this studio-based program, you’ll embark on a critical examination of the issues, theories, and ideas that are relevant to contemporary design and its studio practice.

Fashion Forward

Roski’s new interdisciplinary minor in Fashion is a collaboration with USC’s schools of dance, theater, business, communication and innovation. The program challenges apparel industry norms by asking USC undergraduate students to redefine what fashion is, while seeking a career that includes media and culture, business entrepreneurship and marketing.

    Exhibitions

    Solo and group shows at Roski’s galleries offer artists and designers opportunities to conceive, design, install and share their work. And at the end of the semester, having your work chosen for inclusion in the USC Roski Annual Student Exhibition at the USC Fisher Museum of Art is truly exciting.

    International Opportunities

    As a Roski School undergraduate you can choose to spend a semester or a year studying in Europe, Australia or South Africa. Students also have opportunities to join shorter international tours.
