Roadsurfer campervan and motorhome fleet

Roadsurfer’s fleet spans everything from compact campervans to spacious family motorhomes, all from trusted manufacturers including Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Westfalia, Knaus and Bürstner.

Compact campervans such as the Surfer Suite (VW T6.1 California Ocean) and Beach Hostel (VW T6.1 California Beach) sleep up to four and feature pop-up roofs and integrated or slide-out kitchens — ideal for couples and small families who want to stay nimble. The Travel Home (Mercedes Marco Polo) and Camper Cabin / Camper Cabin Deluxe (Ford Nugget) add extra comfort, with the Deluxe including an on-board toilet. For more living space, couple-friendly models like the Couple Condo and Couple Cottage offer a wet bath with shower and toilet plus hot water, while the Couple Cottage Offroad adds 4×4 capability. Families and larger groups can stretch out in the Family Freedom, Family Finca, Van Villa or Road House — with fixed beds, full kitchens and dining areas sleeping up to five — and adventurers can head off-grid in the 4×4 Horizon Hopper.

Every camper arrives road-trip ready: navigation, air conditioning and heating, a camping table and two chairs, and full kitchen equipment, plus unlimited mileage, a free second driver and 24/7 roadside assistance as standard. Optional extras — bike racks, portable toilets, child seats, dog, additional camping gear and more — can be added at booking to tailor each trip.

Roadsurfer booking and rental requirements

Driver requirements: a standard class B (class 3) licence is required, with the original presented at pick-up. Minimum age is 18 in Europe (licence held at least 1 year) and 21 in the USA, Canada, Ireland and the UK (2 years in the UK). Non-EU drivers should carry an International Driving Permit alongside their national licence where local law requires it (for example in Italy, Austria and Greece).

Booking & pick-up: most rentals have a 3-night minimum, and online check-in opens 7 days before collection to speed up hand-over. A refundable security deposit is pre-authorised at pick-up, campers can be winter-ready where needed, and pets are welcome on board for a small fee.
