Half hour ago. Teenage girl on my street having a severe allergic reaction. Yelling for an EpiPen. I’m holding my kid, sprint a block to the fire department, yell that we need an EliPen. Fireman comes out, follows me, tells me the city took them away because of budget.

She wasn’t conscious by the time the ambulance arrived. I got to the fire station in plenty of time I hope this post helps someone not have this happen to them. I don’t get political - but fire departments should carry them.
