This is from apphash.io It shows which SDK module produced a different state root, and lets you drill down into the exact key-value differences inside that module. It turns a blind debugging process into a concrete, inspectable state difference. Integration is

A few days ago, I shared that I placed 3rd in my first blockchain audit competition. Since then, many people have reached out, asking about how I got started in blockchain, how I learned, and how they can follow a similar path. Here’s a thread to answer those questions.

Solizard v1.8.0 is here! 🦎 Ultra-light CLI with an interactive shell to *instantly* interact with EVM contracts on any EVM chain. Why Solizard? - Tools like Foundry and Hardhat are great but overloaded with commands/configs. - Remix needs Metamask juggling. Lightweight,

Got a disappointing result in the Cantina x Story Protocol audit—1 Low (Severity: Low, Impact: High). Not the outcome I hoped for, but I’m grateful for the incredible reports from other SRs, exposing issues I overlooked. These insights will fuel my growth and future contests.

    I made a simple CLI tool for cryptographic & address-related tasks—handy for Ethereum/CometBFT devs dealing with secp256k1, Ed25519, base64/hex conversions, and more. github.com/zsystm/gadget

Engage with real-world systems: 1. Study public audit reports (many firms like Zellic shared public reports). 2. Simulate scenarios on local-net using test wallets with sufficient funds. 3. Gradually start contributing to open-source projects in your area of interest.

Once you’ve got the basics, hands-on practice is key: 1. Run a blockchain node locally. 2. Interact with smart contracts using tools like Remix, Hardhat, or Foundry. 3. Use testnets to deploy and experiment with contracts.

2⃣ How long did it take you to reach this level? I’m currently a blockchain core developer with 6 years of experience. It took me this time to build my expertise, and the journey was a mix of consistent practice, research, and real-world exposure.

1⃣ How did you learn blockchain and security auditing? I started learning blockchain during my senior year of university. I didn’t rely on formal education. Instead, I focused on reading documentation and exploring open-source code on GitHub.

For security auditing, I analyzed published audit reports (e.g., Zellic) and studied real-world examples.

@Steiner254 I’ve been a blockchain developer for a while, so I’m quite experienced with Web3 technologies. I started auditing to earn some extra income, but I’ve found that it also complements my main work really well. It’s a great synergy 😃
