We are looking for a collaborative self-starter who has a track record of closing real deals, not just collecting Telegram handles.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated business development or B2B sales experience within the Web3, crypto, or fintech sectors.
- Proven Track Record: A portfolio of past wins. You should have clear stories of sourcing, negotiating, and successfully closing technical integrations or institutional customers.
- The Network: An existing, warm network that overlaps with asset tokenization, institutional issuers, or modern fintech platforms.
- Technical Literacy: While you don't need to write smart contracts, you must be capable of translating complex cryptographic concepts (like off-chain coprocessors and FHE) into business value and writing tech specs compelling enough to get engineers excited.
- NYC Presence: You must be based in the New York area, with the energy to network heavily and drive localized ecosystem growth.
- Employment Type: Full-Time
About Fhenix
Backed by $20M+ in funding from top-tier VCs (including Hack VC, Multicoin Capital, and dao5), Fhenix is pioneering the next frontier of blockchain utility: complete data confidentiality.
We have evolved past the constraints of a single ecosystem to deliver a chain-agnostic, off-chain FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) Coprocessor (CoFHE). This architecture allows developers on any EVM-compatible chain to offload heavy cryptographic workloads to our specialized off-chain execution layer via a simple Solidity import. As we scale this universal privacy layer, we are aggressively driving adoption for our dual-token standard and confidential stablecoin to bridge the gap between institutional finance, fintech, and on-chain privacy.
The Team & The Role
You are not operating on an island. While you will be our strategic, boots-on-the-ground force in NYC, you are joining an established, highly collaborative global BD team. You will have the full backing of experienced Web3 BD professionals, marketing resources, and technical solutions engineers to help you clear roadblocks, align technical resources, and scale your pipeline. We need a relentless closer who thrives in a team environment but can independently command the New York ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside our global growth and engineering teams, you will act as the face of Fhenix in New York, driving adoption of our chain-agnostic confidentiality infrastructure:
- Pipeline Generation & Execution: Own the end-to-end sales cycle for your region. You will source high-value leads, pitch decision-makers, craft compelling technical specifications to get engineering teams aligned, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Tokenization Architecture: Expand the number of asset issuers integrating the Fhenix dual-token standard and our privacy-preserving infrastructure across various blockchains.
- Fintech & Stablecoin Adoption: Drive meaningful integrations between traditional/next-gen fintech platforms and Fhenix, with a core focus on scaling the utility of our confidential stablecoin.
- Ecosystem Expansion: Secure strategic partnerships and technical integrations with major crypto and institutional wallets to support our off-chain coprocessor model.
- Local Ecosystem Domination: Actively chase down in person meetings, represent Fhenix at local crypto and traditional finance conferences, and turn the NYC network into a high converting growth funnel.
- Familiarity or experience pitching privacy-centric tech, zero-knowledge tech, or coprocessor architectures.
- Deep DeFi knowledge—we are always looking to increase the collective corpus of DeFi knowledge at Fhenix.
We believe in compensating top-tier talent with top-tier rewards.
- Competitive Base Salary with additional, milestone-based performance unlocks tied directly to successful integrations.
- Upside Package ensures you are deeply aligned with the ecosystem's upside you are building.
- Additional Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Covered Travel: Whether it’s domestic travel for client closings or international ecosystem events, your travel expenses are fully covered.
- High Autonomy: The freedom to own your pipeline and directly shape the privacy layer of the future financial system.
What is Zero-knowledge?
Zero-knowledge is a concept in cryptography that allows two parties to exchange information without revealing any additional information beyond what is necessary to prove a particular fact
In other words, zero-knowledge is a way of proving something without actually revealing any details about the proof
Here are some examples of zero-knowledge:
- Password authentication: When you enter your password to log into an online account, the server doesn't actually know your password. Instead, it checks to see if the hash of your password matches the stored hash in its database. This is a form of zero-knowledge because the server doesn't know your actual password, just the hash that proves you know the correct password.
- Sudoku puzzles: Suppose you want to prove to someone that you've solved a particularly difficult Sudoku puzzle. You could do this by providing them with the completed puzzle, but that would reveal how you solved it. Instead, you could use a zero-knowledge proof where you demonstrate that you know the solution without actually revealing the solution itself.
- Bitcoin transactions: In a Bitcoin transaction, you prove that you have ownership of a certain amount of Bitcoin without revealing your private key. This is done using a zero-knowledge proof called a Schnorr signature, which allows you to prove ownership of a specific transaction output without revealing the private key associated with that output.
- Secure messaging: In a secure messaging app, you can prove to your contacts that you have access to a shared secret without revealing the secret itself. This is done using a zero-knowledge proof, which allows you to prove that you have access to the secret without actually revealing what the secret is.
